If a clock takes two seconds to strike two bells, how much time does it take to strike three bells?

Answer: Four seconds. When a clock strikes two, between those two rings, there is one interval. It takes 2 seconds according to the question. (Bell…Interval… Bell). Between three bells, there are two intervals (Bell…Interval… Bell… Interval… Bell) and hence the answer is ‘four’ seconds.
